It suggests that Congress refused explicitly to grant authority that the Bush administration now asserts is implicit in the resolution.

underdog no more.

read this "Finally, around 9 p.m., Richard D. Parsons, chief executive of Time Warner told Eric E. Schmidt, chief executive of Google, that he would accept Google's recently sweetened offer. Google, which prides itself on the purity of its search results, agreed to give favored placement to content from AOL throughout its site, something it has never done before.and was a bit disturbed", and was a little disturbed. from a scrappy little search engine into a marketing demon. Google has made the transition at least in my mind. I want to know specifically what they promotions they are offering AOL. Scary shit.

Amy's Baby Shower.

Linda and I packed up Lulu and the Pootie-pie on Saturday morning and headed down to Portland for Amy and David's baby shower. We got down to Portland in time for the ladies to head off to makeup appointment while David and I got down to the serioius business of analyzing the differences in the New Guy and the New Guy (Director's cut).

The party was, of course, fabulous.

I hold Amy in very high esteem because for 5 years now she has been checking up on me at the website. In 5 days I will have been posting drivel to sneakyfreak.com... sometimes daily sometimes weekly. through this little log i can go back and see 3 different jobs, the courting of the love of my life, and snippets of memories and dreams. daamn. Besides my family, I think Amy is one of the only people who actually look at this thing. HA. SMOOCH!

Linda and I also had a great breakfast with Scott, Michelle and Fiona. They have promised to come up sailing with us on Indian Summer in the new year. Yay. Going back to Portland is bittersweet for Linda (especially) and me. We had such an amazing time there when we were courting and Linda always figured that was where she was going to end up, until I hauled her up to Seattle.

Great trip, too short. Portland should really be taken in at least 2 night doses we have decided.
