crabby

just back from crabbing with nate and brady.
heading over to ryan's for dinner. something about tenderloin. ryan has always fixated on loins.
our contribution will be a pile for freshly boiled red rock crabs. no dungies today. I think the boys may be more into the act of hunting (w/tecate in hand), than actually eating the catch. oh well, more for me. Ran up and dropped off a couple crustacens for the Gs as well. Grandpa was in the shop building a window box for mom. We are all headed up to Hood Head next weekend for oysters and sailing if we are blessed with wind. I would love a cold blow up and a cozy night on the boat. ahhh.

Work is busy but good. Worked this weekend again, but from home exclusively. Helps to have my hounds around

been biddy

hey faithful fans in internet land,
been working to hard. nice change for a while. I am back in the bus/walk commute groove. Got my favorite street folks that i sight everyday. Relearning how to avoid being carsplashed as I cruise through Pioneer Square in the early.

Funny thing, every time i vary my path to work I run into somebody I know. Kind of freaky in a "seattle too small" kind of way. I guess it doesn't hurt that my last two places of employment are now only about a stone's throw away from the new place of employ.

job is good. i think she and me are kicking eachothers asses. I like where this company is going, even though it will take a month or two to iron out some wrinkles. I haven't worked with such a great group of people since ApexLearning... and there the prospects of the job amounting to anything were slim.

just had a lovely predawn walk with the puppers. wet drizzly seattle. wet dogs. home is heaven.

l8r,

new jay oh bee.

the business card will say something like:

Nick Peters
Software Project Manager
Escapia
Http://www.escapia.com

Scored the dream job, pretty much. Start up feel, but not quite a start up. Great product with room for improvements. The potential of this thing is pretty great. Property management software, add that to the list of expertises. I am so pleased with the folks that I will be working with, reminds me of Apex a bit.

Back is sore. It is my newest soft spot.
