Weekend on the water w/ Indian Summer. Just me and my sweetie.
We had an incredible sail over to Pt. Madison on friday night, over to Blake Island on Saturday and home on sunday by 1:00 pm. Nothing remarkable about the trip, except for how relaxing it was + i was able to beat linda twice at Phase 10 (no small feat). Sunday was beautiful and clear, a nice change from the wild wind that we had on saturday. Highlights included: pressure cooking stew, finishing "The Curve of Time" (which was wonderful), and starting in on "The Last Navigator".

"During lunch, this rather scruffy looking gentleman sidled up to me and began chatting. You know the usual, about how he's not really homeless, how he used to be an Alaska fisherman, how he was asked to play at Muckleshoot tonight.

Then suddenly he exclaimed, "Hey, you got a ring on. Is there a husband out there?"
I smiled, "Yup."
He replied, "Well, I can't waste my time chatting you up."
