All is good in seatown. Cold weather has set in. This morning was cold and crisp and venus was hanging off the bottom point of the moon. I am counting the minutes until thursday and the beginning of the 4 day weekdend.

Had a good visit with Nate last weekend. We went on a rock gathering adventure near Gold Bar and Sultan out Highway 2, east of Everett. I got a great round flat rock to use as a seat in the garden and also procured a good supply of terrerium rocks. Stayed up late playing Carcassone and Go. Short visit, but a good one.

Bezos is out in front of the building demonstrating and showing off the new segway people mover thing.

played whirley ball this evening with a crowd for brian's birthday. photos posted on sneakyfreak. Tomorrow is the first race of winter aboard quorum. now i got to go to bed.

abandoning ride to work this morning. it is good to have a riding partner to reinforce bad behaviors. I should go shower and get ready to go in... but without the ride in front of me I can put it off for a while.

good weekend, mostly stayed home and cleaned. linda came home late saturday night to sleeping i. yesterday we ran around a bit... bought two prune trees and a cool looking vine. repotted plants and messed around with my terrarium. I am building one with a fountain and pond in it. gonna get a turtle (i think) and make a better spider home. previous spider breeding has been hampered by mr. froggy who sees my breeding stock as lunch. such a pity, but what a wonderful excuse to put together a new animal/plant home.

7. duh, oh yeah. The lovely Aime hooked Amy and I up (our regular dates unavailable). We attended a filming of dave matthews singing an elvis tune for an nbc special. then he played several songs. lovely voice and personable entertainer. very cool. thanks aime.

4. saw dogtown and z boys on the history of skateboarding. great movie and worth seeing even if you haven't lost teeth doing stupid things fast.
