drove up to bellingham, birch bay, lummi reservation, chuckanut drive.
brought home a bucket of clams. tomorrow clam chowder. ahhhhhh

been super busy sailing, fishing and adjusting to life back in the hometown. linda and i have been keeping to ourselves except in regard to my family (gps and ma). it has been rather nice. i do sense though, that this is ending. Had lunch w/ max yesterday and hung out in the city by myself for a while. I am trying to envision myself back in it and wondering where the nicest fit will be. I am schemeing.

linda came racing last night on Quorum for the first time. the wind and the waves were amazing with some nice turn arounds in the weather in the middle of the race. I worked the foredeck and felt great about my performance. got to jib the spinnaker several times which kept me sweating. there is nothing better.

honey and i also spent four days out on Indian Summer with Grandma and Grandpa. We cruised up to Pt. Ludlow for a night, then up to Mystery Bay (Marrowstone Island) and back down to Hood Head. Did some crabbing and shucked some oysters on the beach. Caught a couple of moonsnails and some other weird wormy thing. All this plus a Carcassonne tournament every night. It was fantastic.
